| Loving, gentle, playful, and a real heart grabber describes Rosie who is about 9 years old in these pictures taken in March 2013. She came in at a 5-6 month old puppy in April 2004. This beautiful, smart, happy, and loving girl has spent 8 and a half years at Lone Pine. Rosie is happy, but has never had the joy of being in a loving; forever home where she gets one-on-one all the time. One of the first dogs people come to walk and love on when they come to volunteer at LP is Rosie. She is as sweet as her name with people and some dogs. Rosie would be best suited for a home with no other dogs or a home with a male dog. She does well with people of every age and is very loving. Rosie is smart and walks well on a leash. Rosie has represented LP at several Adoption Days and is always a big hit with everyone. She so loves getting lots of attention from everyone she can and is great with children. Rosie did not like any dog to get too close to her though and did growl a warning if any did come close. She is a people dog after all. |
